ASSOCIATION "UKRKONDPROM" is the only industry association of producers of confectionery, food concentrates, starch products and coffee in Ukraine.
Association was established 10 December 2009, as a non-profit economic organization of Ukrkonditer, which eventually turned into a contractual association of enterprises, engaged in the production and sale of confectionery, coffee, starch and food concentrates. And in such circumstances, the Association became the successor of «Ukrkonditer".
The main tasks of the Association are to establish an effective dialogue between business and government, achieve a reasonable balance between the interests of government regulation and business development and assists in the promotion of Ukrainian products to foreign markets.
The Association includes 27 participants, including leading manufacturers of confectionery, starch and food concentrates industry, including: " Roshen ", «AVK KONFEKSHІNERІ», "Kharkiv biscuit factory", "Mondelis Ukraine", "Domenik", Ltd. "Nestle Ukraine", "Galka LTD", PJSC “Dnipropetrovsk Food Concentrates Plant ”, LLC “Jacobs Dow Egberts Ukraine”.
Association members provided about 65% – confectionery, 55% food concentrate, 90% – starch molasses and 50% of coffee production in the total volume of production of the industry in Ukraine.
On the basis of the Association there are:
– Specialized industrial tasting commission for assessing the quality of confectionery, food concentrates, coffee, tea and beverages based on them, at which meetings 400 new products are annually reviewed.
– Technical Committee for Standardization TC 152 "Production of confectionery and food concentrates", which develops and coordinates national standards (DSTU), established codes of practice and changes to them; participates in the work of the relevant technical committees of standardization of international and regional standardizations organizations.
