LAW OF UKRAINE
On Amendments to Article 38 Law of Ukraine "On the safety and quality of food"
(to inform the public about the absence of gluten in foods)

Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine REGULATION a n o l a i am:

I. The Law of Ukraine "On the safety and quality of food" (Supreme Council of Ukraine, 1998 ., № 19, Article. 98) follows:

1. Part one of the article 38 Law following new paragraph 11 this content:

«11) absence of gluten in foods, displayed on the label food product labeled "gluten-free". With, absence of gluten in foods considered, if the content of gluten in food does not exceed 20 ppm (mg / 100g) of the total weight of the product in the packaging unit ".

II. This law comes into force after its publication.

III. Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine within one month from the date of enactment of this Act:
- Ensure that their regulations in accordance with this Law;
- ensure bringing the executive authorities of their normative legal acts in compliance with this law.
