Association "UKRKONDPROM" is the only representative industry association of confectionery manufacturers, food concentrates, starch products and coffee in Ukraine.
Association was established 10 December 2009 year as a non-profit economic organization of Ukrkondyter CJSC, which eventually turned into a contractual association of enterprises, engaged in the production and sale of confectionery, coffee, starch and food concentrates. The association became the legal successor of Ukrkondyter CJSC.
The main tasks of the Association are to establish an effective dialogue between business and government, protection of the interests of industry enterprises in the regulatory environment, achieving a reasonable balance between state regulation and the interests of business development, as well as assistance in the promotion of Ukrainian products to foreign markets.
The Association includes 30 participants – leading manufacturers of confectionery, starch and food concentrates industry, among which: LLC "Biscotti", PE "Production and trading company "Lucas", "Galka LTD", PJSC "Dnipropetrovsk Plant of Food Concentrates", "Domenic Co" LLC, JSC "Zhytomyr Lasoshchi", SE "Zeelandia", "Interstarch Ukraine" LLC, LLC "Confectionery factory "Yarych", " Roshen ", "Mulby Foods" LLC, "Mondelis Ukraine", Ltd. "Nestle Ukraine", "Kharkiv biscuit factory", LLC "Shokooooolad" and LLC "Jacobs Dow Egberts".
Association members provided about 70% confectionery, 55% food concentrate, 90% starch molasses and 55% coffee ( including 90% instant coffee) production in the total volume of production of the industry in Ukraine.
On the basis of the Association there are:
- Specialized industrial tasting commission for assessing the quality of confectionery, food concentrates, coffee, tea and beverages based on them, at the meetings of which are annually considered close 400 new products are annually reviewed.
- Technical Committee for Standardization TC 152 "Production of confectionery and food concentrates", which develops and coordinates national standards (DSTU), established codes of practice and changes to them, and also participates in the work of relevant technical standardization committees of international and regional standardization organizations.
