So, only for January 2012 year, compared to January 2011 year, fell by 4,74% (from 80 th. tons to 76,3 th. tonnes), and in February 2012 year, compared to February 2011 year - 2,99% (from 80,9 th. tons to 78,5 th. tonnes).

 

In terms of groups of confectionery situation is as follows.

Production of chocolate confectionery in January 2012 decreased by 8,31%, in February 2012 year – by 9,04 %.

The decline in the production of sugar confectionery in these months was respectively 10,89% and 3,34% .

The slight increase recorded in the production of flour confectionery. In January 2012 year they were produced on 1,36%, and in February - on 1,06% more, than for the respective months 2011 year.

remarkable, that the reduction of production is in the background of the rising cost of exports confectionery, which in 2011 year amounted to 1,1 billion. US. USA.

This highlights the significant impact of intra-economic factors on the production and consumption of products.

Export growth 2011 year was held for all types of confectionery, and most of all - by flour group. So, export of sugar confectionery in value terms for 2011 year increased by 5%, chocolate - on 11%, and flour - on 34%.

In general, for the period 2005-2011 years. export of confectionery Ukraine in terms of value increased by 192,65%.

 

The growth of export deliveries continued in 2012 year: by 17% in January and at 11% in February, compared to the corresponding months 2011 year.

The main importer of Ukrainian confectionary Russian Federation remains, which receives 56,8% exports. In CIS, in general, for more than 83% Ukrainian confectionery exports.

With the growth of exports, increased imports of confectionery in Ukraine. Note, that the main growth occurred in imports of chocolate products from the EU.

In 2011 year, the total increase in imports of confectionery to Ukraine amounted to 42,8%, compared to 2010 year. The same trend persisted in 2012 year - for 2 months on imported 14,3% more, than in the same period last year.

The bulk of deliveries of confectionery in Ukraine, traditionally, comes from the Russian Federation and the EU, on that account 94,38% total imports of confectionery in Ukraine.

From the beginning 2012 The European Union has significantly increased its shipments of confectionery products in Ukraine and significantly increased its share in the Ukrainian market presence.

There is a noticeable disparity Ukrainian foreign trade confectionery. So, about half of confectionery imports to Ukraine accounts for EU, although the European Union provides only Ukraine 5,01% of the total export of confectionery. Trade balance with the EU is also not in favor of Ukraine: for 2 months 2012 year it amounted to 26,2 million. UAH.
