Chapter "Ukrkondpromu" noted, that administrative intervention in the pricing of Ukrainian produce an overt violation of the Belarusian side conditions of bilateral trade, defined by international legal instruments, to which both countries are.
"Conditions of the requirements of the government of Belarus on minimum prices for Ukrainian confectionery products violates the basic principles of competition and establishes unequal trade language Ukrainian confectionery the Belarusian market ", – said Alexander Baldynyuk.
He noted, that the purpose of the decision of the Belarusian authorities have significant difficulty or blocking access to the Ukrainian confectionery market by Belarusian artificial rise in the cost of Ukrainian products.
Alexander said Baldynyuk, that the Association has prepared and sent to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine "Application for an investigation to establish the discriminatory and hostile actions by Belarus with respect Ukrainian enterprises of the confectionery industry».
Leader "Ukrkondpromu" stressed the need to respond appropriately to the hostile and illegal actions of Belarusian authorities, violating international law by Ukrainian trade and economic interests.

Under this Regulation, import to Belarus from outside the Customs Union pastry made by one-time licenses, Mintorhivli issued in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Belarusian State Food Industry Concern "Byelhospischeprom". An application for a license must agree with Byelhospischepromom if entered into between concern and manufacturer of confectionery agreements on conditions of supply to Belarus, which should be set minimum prices for products.
Belarus is the fourth largest foreign market for Ukrainian confectionery. The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus №469 16.05.2014 y. threatens significant losses of domestic economic agents and Ukraine.

Association "Ukrkondprom" is the only industry association of manufacturers of confectionery, food concentrates, starch products and coffee in Ukraine.
Association members provided 70% confectionery and food concentrates production, close 95% coffee production and krohmalepatokovoho production in total production field in Ukraine.
